IPv4 Address Space Transfer Report

created and maintained by Philipp Richter. Last updated: December 2016. This page uses JavaScript and iframes.

The exhaustion of the IPv4 address space has led to the introduction of transfer policies by the Regional Internet Registries (RIRs). This website collects statistics on the number of IPv4 addresses and address blocks that were transferred so far. For more general information on exhaustion of the IPv4 address space, address space transfers and the respective policies, see our paper A Primer on IPv4 Scarcity. If you have questions, please contact me directly.

This report is generated semi-automatically on a monthly basis. The data is gathered from publicly available transfer statistics provided by ARIN, RIPE and APNIC. The information is provided as-is. I disclaim all warranties regarding possible errors, which may arise due to erroneous information provided in the source files or due to errors when parsing them.
